Results and challenges

In Jan 2011 – May 2012 as a software engineer and project manager from the ground up I worked on:

1. Converting several poorly-structured databases based on text documents (60GB, millions of records) into a consistent MySQL DB
2. Scheduled updating of the DB from online sources (scraping)
3. Setting up full-text search engine with stemming for Russian language (instant search)
4. Web development
5. Project management
